Who I am<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Born in Aosta, I grew up surrounded by the fantastic peaks of my region, but it was only once I finished my university studies that I began to learn about the world of mountains. My space, which until then ended at the top of the ski lifts, then takes on proportions
totally different. Before long I became passionate about all disciplines revolving around the mountains, from trekking to high-altitude mountaineering, from rock climbing to ice climbing, from ski mountaineering to freeriding, and gradually the idea of becoming an Alpine Guide grew in me.<\/p>

At first a timid dream, then an increasingly motivating project for which I am even willing to jettison an established career in banking.<\/span><\/p>\n

Come back healthy: safety and risk management
<\/b>Safety is undoubtedly the primary focus of my work.
However, I feel it is appropriate to share with my clients what is my understanding of the Mountain-Guide-Safety trinomial.
All activities carried out in the mountains have risks, although adopting the most prudent conduct possible a minimum level of risk will always remain present (avalanches, bad weather, slips, crevasses, fog and orientation problems…). Mountain guiding is not immune to this, and the slogan “in full safety,” which is sometimes waved in some advertisements, is a mirror for larks. I therefore espouse the line of thinking that sees the mountain guide as a risk manager rather than a guarantor of absolute safety.
Aware of this, my intent will therefore be to provide as much security as possible<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Return (and match) friends: mutual transparency
<\/b>Mutual transparency in the Client Guide relationship is an indispensable element of quality business. It is important to share and define unequivocally, and even before we leave, all the technical\/logistical (route, technical difficulties, objective dangers…), personal (technical\/physical level, possible pathologies\/allergies…) and economic\/managerial (prices, program changes…) aspects that revolve around our project.<\/p>\n

Arguing and sharing my decisions with excursion participants is a fundamental part of my ideal Guide-Client relationship.<\/p>\n
